Dear Friends, GinaWeen is an annual family friendly fall festival in honor of my Sister and my Mom Bonnie both who have passed from Cancer. For the 8th consecutive year we are hosting the#GinaWeen2019 in Atlanta, GA and this year we are moving our venue indoors to the
Our event is schedule for October, 19, 2019 starting at 5pm.
Gina was my beloved sister who lost a courageous battle to a cancerous Brain Tumor in the fall of 2010. We have worked very hard over the past 8 years to raise money to fight cancer in honor of Gina and will continue this annual event for many years to come.
In the fall of 2015, I lost my mother Bonnie Joe Ross to lung cancer. My mother was a huge fan of the GinaWeen event – and her memories of the event are long lasting to me. I miss my Sister and my Mother’s smiling face, but I am certain they will be both smiling down on us during this year’s event.
Since 2011, GinaWeen has raised over $350,000 and all proceeds from the event go to the “Fighting the Fight” on Cancer.
This year we are very excited and happy to continue with our partnership with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center for the 2nd year. This great facility has been a cornerstone in Atlanta and “fighting the fight” on Cancer.
Please donate and most importantly come out to this year’s #GinaWeen2019 and help us “fight the fight” against cancer. This year’s GinaWeen event is scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 2019 (5:00p – Midnight). We hope to see you all there!
